2012 International Summer Arts Institute

The 2012 summer arts institute and concert, organized by IAEF and ICIA will be held July 2–10, at the Scuola Communate di Musica Giacomo Puccini, Citta di Castello, Italy. Opportunities of exceptional sound recording and lecture presentations at the University of Rome, Tor Vergata during July 11–14 will be possible for those qualifying persons studying composition, and performance. IAEF conference events will include special guest speakers and provide the opportunity for academic professionals to present papers on topics related to issues relevant to higher education performing arts. Please plan on a time allowance of one half hour for presentations with an additional fifteen minutes for questions and discussions.

Participation in master classes, private lessons, and other rich performance opportunities will be provided by International Composers and Interactive Artists, Inc. (ICIA). Together, IAEF and ICIA bring world renowned academics, musicians, composers, and dance choreographers to the conference. Additionally, workshop participants will be invited to performances by the Namaste Clarinet Quartet of Perugia, the Nabla Ensemble of Rome.
